We are Nathalie and André, the new owners of this haven of peace.
Located in the charming hamlet of Filly between La Roche-en-Ardenne and Houffalize, we are blessed with the valley of the two Ourthes and a magnificent suroundings.
There are plenty of opportunities for walking, mountain biking and kayaking along the Ourthe as well as the Nisramont dam. After the effort, a stopover in Achouffe for a tasting of local beers is a must, not forgetting Nadrin for a gourmet meal.

We feel close to nature, so we attach great importance to sorting waste. We are aware of the challenge that this represents, especially for a large-capacity cottage. We try to motivate our guests to bring as little plastic as possible! For example, Filly’s water is excellent, so that will avoid a lot of plastic waste!

A SUSTAINABLE PROJECT
Ever since we arrived in the Parc naturel des deux Ourthes, we’ve never ceased to be amazed by the flora and fauna that surround us.
So right from the start of our adventure in tourism, we wanted to make our guests aware of the beauty but also the fragility of our environment.
When the two of us renovated our cottage, it seemed only natural to improve the insulation and reduce the energy consumption of the house. Being mindful of water and energy consumption is a commitment that we ask you to respect.
Being somewhat artists at heart, we upcycled unused materials from the house to create unique objects that decorate and personalize each room.
And as holidays often begin with the discovery of new flavours, we’re delighted to be able to suggest some of the local producers we know – an amazing testing adventure.
As hikers ourselves, we can suggest walks from the most strenuous to the most accessible, starting directly from our home. Put on your boots and you’re on your way without taking the car. And don’t forget the mountain bike and road bike circuits. We provide you with a safely locked bicycle room.
Finally, there’s a sensitive subject that’s close to our hearts: waste sorting! We’ve found that it’s much more effective to put up pictures of what you should throw in each bin than a long speech when our guests arrive.
